How to Promote Your Music & Make Money

OK, you've reached the final step, but don't think you can quit when you finish this one. This step is one that has to be maintained and refueled. You don't do it just once and then sit back and wait for the big bucks to roll in. If you do, you'll never see those big bucks and you'll be wishing you hadn't quit your day job.

In fact, you'd better hold on to that day job until you get really good at this and you're making as much money with your music as you make with that day job!

The goal of promotion is quite simple - build your fan base! For example, the little box on the right is an example of how one website does that. It's "The Social Media Marketing Blog" ... and "social marketing" is what your own promotion is going to be all about, so feel free to scroll down through the box (called a "widget") and read whatever floats your boat.

In this section you'll learn just how to do that. But first let's go back to the beginning (since at this point the tutorial is just an introduction) and start with Step A. Then work your way back to this spot.
