How to Distribute Your Music

Once the music is recorded, mixed and mastered, it has to be distributed - put out in front of the buying public.

This usually takes two forms: a physical product like a CD, and a downloadable product like an MP3 or iPod file.

In most cases you will need to have both.

In these tutorials you will learn how to do this and where to actually place your music out there in the cold, cruel world.

As the music world continues to go through upheaval, many places that were once great places to have your songs or albums - well, they just don't exist anymore. They've gone belly up.

You will learn - no, you'll actually see - which ones I use and why. You'll discover what you have to do to work with each one of these (they're all different and this is why it's important to have those databases set up in the very beginning).

You'll learn how to put a price on your products without selling out too cheap or killing your sales potential because the price is too high.

You'll learn how to squeeze the most exposure out of the approaches and avenues you choose.
